I wondered where you were going with this, and when I saw Gary Hart, I still wondered. Though his taste in women was OK--Donna Rice was hot before she went Christo-wacky. I met Gary Hart once in Keene in 1987 IIRC. Colony Mill Marketplace, he was making the rounds with a fascinating entourage of reporters and security types.
I do like the idea he espouses, and agree that we have hit this selfish "my rights (wants) above all" point. Egalitarianism ad absurdum. Bread and circuses, I am afraid...
